Victoria BID works regularly with local charities and businesses in the SW1 area, helping them fulfill specific volunteering opportunities. These may be related to fundraising, mentoring, making improvements to their facilities or working directly with a their clients. There are a wide variety of opportunities listed below for businesses to get involved in. These are renewed frequently, so it is worth checking for new opportunities. Secret Santa Gift Drop
Three local Victoria based charities took part in our Gift Drop 2011. Over 400 gifts have been collected and distributed, proving once again that there is considerable goodwill shown towards our selected charities amongst SW1's business community. Christmas gifts were collected from John Lewis Partnership who donated beauty products and children’s toys and Price Waterhouse Coopers donated a variety of gifts.
Victoria BID has been overwhelmed by people’s generosity during the run up to Christmas and we would like say a big thank you to all those who donated to the charities, Cardinal Hume Centre, Veteran's Aid and Volunteer Reading Help.
